Friday 11th January. A superb day today. We got up early and did a yoga session as the rest of the city was waking. Right beside the river. Very peaceful.
After breakfast we went to Kuangsi waterfall, about 25 kms away. Simply the most beautiful waterfall any of us have ever seen. Turquoise coloured water cascading down from the mountains. We all took a well deserved swim having hiked to the top. What a great way to spend a day.
We have decided to stay an extra day. Still loads of things to see here.
We will leave early on Sunday morning to take on our toughest challenge yet. Two very steep climbs on our way to a place called Phoukoun. We know it will take at least two days, probably three. However we know that this is not a race and we have time. We will take our time travelling through this incredibly beautiful country.
Over two weeks have passed and we have had some amazing experiences so far…….
